Word Wall Bunting Style

My classroom has very limited wall space. Last year I put my word wall on the bricks. It was too small of an area because half the wall was covered with bookshelves. Also I had to resort to hot glue to attach the words. Even after multiple glue jobs, some words just kept falling down.
I kept seeing all these great buntings people are creating and thinking how cute they are. So I schemed up my new word wall.

I purchased this pack from Rebecca at Darlin' in First

Then I cut out the word wall letters and cut out foam triangles. Then with some modgepodge (my new best friend) they turned them into these lovely triangles.

Next, I cut cardstock in two sizes normal size and large (for those letters that have a ton of words like a, t, and w). Then laminated them. I used modgepodge to attach a laminated paper to a letter.
Look already to be strung.

Then a simple hole punching and a sparkly string and my word wall bunting is complete. Ta-da!! Here is what it looks like this year.

I am super excited about it! It is cute and no precious wall space has been used. Now the words can be attached by simple painters tape (my other best friend).

  3. Love how cute this turned out! While I have space for a word wall, it is not in a convenient spot for kids to see ... Might do something like this to hang from my lights... Yours looks great!
