The good thing is I am teaching with one of my best teaching friends and we work well together. I am going to have to get her on here at some point soon.
I also get all of my students from last year plus many more so it is helping the transition.
So here is our classroom...put together in three days... I know it seems like a lot of time but not when meetings are also involved.
Enjoy the tour!
Right outside our door. Each leaf is a student's name. We have a bee theme at our school for the rule hence us teachers as bees.
The view from the door. Notice my bunting word wall made the move. Notice all the desks. Yup 30 to be exact.
Our behavior chart.
Our schedule and I can statements. Thanks to Holly at CrissCross Applesauce in First and Deanna Jump for these awesome additions.
The welcome packet on our students desk for Open House complete with popcorn and a classroom scavenger hunt. Popcorn was totally my co-teachers idea.
My classroom reminder signs thanks to the talented Hope King and her Subway art.
Half of our classroom library. The books are all the leveled books.
View from the back of the classroom.
Our open house signs.
Hope all you fellow Michigan teachers had a great first day!
I am SO envious of your window....WISH I had a window in my classroom!

The Hands-On Teacher in First!
I love your flowers and bees! Cute idea! Have fun teaching with your friend. I'm trying to get a good friend of mine to try guest-blogging for me. I'm sure she'll like blogging once she starts. She just blogstalks a lot know. Take care!

The bees are too cute! I'm very jealous of how organized everything looks. :)
