First thanks to those who commented on the organization in my classroom!! It has been something I have been working hard on.
Here we are working on our September quilt...thanks to Reagan!! I loved this activity and so did my students. They worked so well together to put the quilt together and get the pattern the way they thought it should be.
The class was so excited when the package arrived...courtesy of a fellow teacher. One of my smarties decided we should use our five senses to make predictions of what is in the box.
Then the name suggestions were pretty good. Some of the favorites were Curious George, Mr. Fluffly, Darth Vader, and my personal favorite Stuffy Banana Peel (with Stuffy being his first name, Banana his middle name, and Peel as his last name).
We came up with our class pledge. Our school rules are the 4Bs ...safe, responsible, respectful, and a role model. They came up with ideas in small groups and then we put them altogether. And yes I need to beautify it soon.
We also started working on the scientific method and played some matching and sequencing games with these cards I created. You can grab a copy here.
Also I struggled to find a Scientific Method song that matched the steps I wanted to teach and finally found Mr. Lee's Scientific Method Song and it fit perfectly, showed the lyrics, and my students felt the need to dance.
WOW two shout outs!!! I am so honored Jessica! Looks like you made it and God Bless You for having 32 bodies in that room all day!

32 sounds like a lot, but it sounds like you have it all under control! Hope this is another great week for you! :)
