In my organizing, this is one of my favorite little tricks. I wish I was one that came up with it, but a super organized co-worker taught me this trick.

Write a "M" somewhere on the paper with a highlight (or yellow marker works as well) to mark it as your Master copy.

When you see that glowing "M" you know it is time to make copies.
It also helps that most of the papers I write "M" on I printed on cardstock. Just a simple trick to help you out!
