This year it is just my iPad and I. My old timer is not iPad friendly. This fact has left me struggling to figure out how to add this tool back in, but I finally think I got it. If possible I might like it even more. I created my own playlist on YouTube! This way I can pull it right up on my iPad and BAM! I got what I need. I made the playlist public so I could share it with all of you. Just click on the picture and you can enjoy.
Currently there are 25 songs and quite the eclectic collection. There are a mix of tunes for clean up, turn and talk, attention getters, down time. Best part there are no ads for any of this videos & if you are lucky enough to show your students the videos too all the videos are school appropriate! As of now there is:
TV show themes
Jeopardy
Price Is Right Theme & Losing Horn Sound
Magic School Bus
Sportscenter Theme
NBC Chimes
Spongebob
Andy Griffith
Looney Tunes
Friends theme (instrumental) but feel free to do the claps...I know I will
Movie Soundtracks (I used these a lot with my old timer & loved them)
Pink Panther
Mission Impossible
Peanuts Themes
James Bond Theme
Ghostbuster
Friday Night Lights Theme
Home Alone
Ocean's Eleven
Batman
Some favorite songs:
Clair de Lune
Beethoven's Fur Elise
AC/DC's Thunderstruck (I only use the intro)
Green Onions
and my personal favorite this video is from one of my favorite local musician, Andre Villoch who wrote & shared this song when he was substitute teaching in 2nd grade (such a funny song) would be great for visualization
Do you have any favorite songs I should add? I would love to hear!

I love this idea!
