Finders Keepers & Giveaways

I must admit I am in full summer mode. I have heard rumors of back to school shopping, but I am resisting that section in full force. I have over 5 weeks left and I am already dreading its end, but know I will love it when I do.
So I went to Target twice this week (and so glad I did). And no shopping for teaching supplies was not the reason I went either. The Dollar Spot has my name and called me to visit...a few times.

On my first trip I found these. Thankful I went when I did because they were all gone a day later. Crazy!
I have always wanted it something like this. Now I don't have to make them. Yes the middle is chalkboard paint so I can write on them. Yippee! I got seven thinking I would use them for tables and for my pencils sharpen and need to be sharpen system.

Then later I saw Christina at Buntings, Books, and Bainbridge had STAR STUDENT chair backs. So I went back to look for those. This is what I ended up with.
Not gonna lie I am pretty excited about the self inking stamp for student work.

I must admit I am a huge thrift store shopper! It is like an adventure seeing what you are going to find. I find some great bargains for myself and these for school.
I plan on turning both Candy Lands into literacy games. My students last year loved the Sight Word one I created.

I also love rock picking and beach combing. I am pretty sure it is a genetic trait in my family because many of us have a huge interest in this. This find was like a treasure!

I know there are a ton of giveaways going on but here are some you should check out.

Haley at Following Optimism is having her first giveaway for reaching 150 followers! You definitely should check it out here! It ends tonight. My Racing for Gold Unit is one of the prizes you can win.

Mrs. Castro's Class is also having a huge giveaway for reaching 100 followers and I mean huge. So go check it out here!
