It's Wednesday!!! Noun Freebie & Wanna Giveaway?

I have to admit something...sh, sh because it is a secret! Wednesdays are my favorite day.
Multiple Choice Question
Wednesdays are my favorite because:
a) There are more specials aka I have more "planning time"
b) It is an early release or early start day.
c) That I don't have a meeting afterschool.
d) None of the above.

Normally when I guess I pick C, but the correct answer is D. Wednesdays are the best because they are "Work" Wednesday or "Whine" Wednesday because I can do a lot of that too.

I am not sure when my co-teacher and I decided but since the first week of school we get together every Wednesday night to work together, write our newsletter, discuss what to do better in our room. Now it has progressed to cooking dinner together because we both love to cook...we are still looking for someone to join that likes to clean up.

Do you do anything similar? Or having a designated teacher de-stress reclaim your sanity time?

At my word work station this week, students are working on common and proper nouns. They complete a sort by reading articles from Scholastic News to help find 5 of each while writing them on the graphic organizer below. Click on the organizer to get your own copy.

    and I want a teacher friend to cook for me- and clean it up- bleck- I despise cleaning the kitchen (but I'll come eat with you)
